There are
many beautiful and ornate theaters in Chicago but this one is
by far my favorite. Even though it's 110-year-old stage was
replaced about 3 years ago, it still retains it's original
moldings, marble columns and stunning arches. I've seen many
shows here including River Dance, STOMP and Miss Saigon and by
far the best seats are in the First balcony but if you're
afraid of heights or prefer not to walk about a few very high
grand stairs cases to get to your seat, then the main floor is
also excellent. If you can't find a parking space on the
street, there is a garage directly across the street that
isn't that expensive, usually around $20.00. But if you park
in the garage on Michigan (which is only a few blocks from the
theater) it's about $14.00.
