I enjoy CSO
and think everyone should have tune-ups of sublime
coordination especially if the radio dial of choice is set to
heavy metal or sports talk all day. This gets my vote for one
of those it will be good for you sort of things, please try
it. Of all the classical stuff I've gone to too, ballet and
opera included, I confess I can get a little nappy at times
and my head is not exactly nodding to the beat. I've outgrown
any ensuing embarrassment and know how to jiggle a little,
flick my tongue along the roof of my mouth, and I am again, an
upright citizen. I have full awareness that there are certain
brainwave cycles that are activated -- somewhat similar to the
ones I generate when I zone out for my metaphysical purposes.
I also advocate playing classical during pregnancy for the
same reasons. Or during a hospital stay. Again, I cannot
explain why; I simply know that it's just good for people.
Besides, there are enough studies out there to support all
this. I look forward to the collectively raised consciousness
when all will acknowledge that melodious aural patterns do
have a wonderful effect upon our internal fabrics.
